Team Newfield assisted members of the Newfield family affected by Hurricane Harvey.
When you call on Team Newfield for help, you can count on a force to turn up and do whatever is necessary to improve the situation. That’s what happened when Newfield employees faced the wrath of Hurricane Harvey this past week. The catastrophic storm wreaked havoc on a number of Newfield employee homes—leaving behind a trail of destruction.
The response from Team Newfield was immediate. An army of volunteers struck out with equipment, tools and whatever materials were needed to assist members of our Newfield family with cleanup and construction. Other employees stepped up to supply clothing, food and other provisions that were required by their impacted colleagues.
It was a true team effort and exemplifies our core values. We have always been a company focused on doing the right thing and there’s no doubt during this incredibly challenging time, our employees rose to the challenge.
The televised footage of “neighbor-helping-neighbor” has been impactful and a solid visual for what Texans are all about. As we continue to face the rebuilding of our community, our focus will be on our families, our friends, our neighbors and helping those around us.
